Scott Philips

CTO

Scott is Vannevar’s CTO and leads Vannevar’s engineering teams. He has over 15 years of experience developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies for defense and intelligence applications. Prior to Vannevar, Scott was Vice President at Systems & Technology Research (STR) where he led their analytics business with the Intelligence Community. In addition, he has led engineering efforts at Palantir Technologies and MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Scott has a PhD from the University of Washington where he studied machine learning for active sonar systems.
